New Custom Home Design
If you are thinking about building a new home, commercial building, or industrial building, call us for a free consultation and quote for plans and engineering. As well as being an engineer, I am also a general contractor and can use my experience to save you money. I have designed hundreds of buildings and other structures over the past 25 years and can provide “strong†and “efficient†and “economical†designs at reasonable costs. I can also help you pick contractors and/or advise you if you want to be your own contractor. Construction drawings will be provided to you in printed form, and also provided electronically (PDF) for your convenience.
Additions and Renovations
If you are thinking about an addition to your home or business, call us for a free consultation and quote for plans and engineering. As well as being an engineer, I am also a general contractor and can use my experience to save you time, money, and headaches, and mis-communications with your suppliers! I can also help you pick contractors and/or advise you if you plan to be your own contractor. We will provide signed and sealed construction drawings that include floor plans, elevations, wall sections, hurricane wind design, structural design, detailed material specifications, and installation specifications. Construction drawings will be provided to you in printed form, and also provided electronically (PDF) for your convenience.
Tower and Light Pole Engineering
If you install communication towers, antennas, or light poles we can provide plans and engineering that is permit ready with typical turnaround times of two to three days. Our plans and engineering meet all of the requirements of the Florida 2020 Building Code for wind speed, foundation design, and other code requirements needed to obtain a building permit. A variety of accessories can be analyzed and specified on the plans such as cameras and multiple antennas.
